• In the closed position the valve guarantees the complete sealing of the infusion system up to 35psi. This means that the valve does not allow any solution to exit unless a pressure higher than 35psi is created.
• When the syringe is connected, the valve opens allowing flow in the system. The SILICONE stem guarantees a perfect seal between the syringe or any LUER LOCK connector and valve. The valve has no obstructions in the flow path which minimizes hemolysis, and allows high flow rates.
